Yeah, I’m a switcher. I gave up the Microsoft lifestyle a few months back and, by and large, I’ve been pretty happy with the conversion. The things I want to do on a regular basis are much easier, simpler, and more pleasant. Browsing the internet, reading mail, watching pirated movies, editing photos, etc. are all activities I enjoy much more now that I’m in the cult of the Mac.
Macs are supposed to be much more robust, immune from viruses and spyware, more stable, and even look cooler to look at…
…but I still seem to break mine on a regular basis.
I don’t know if I’m just such a huge power user (pronounced: \nərd\) that I’m always stretching any machine I use to the breaking point, or if I don’t know what I’m doing half the time, or maybe it’s that undiagnosed metal plate in my head, but I do seem to spend a lot of time staring at a locked application.
At least the omnipresent mac style “please wait” spinning flower thingy is nicer to watch than the Windows hourglass I’m used to seeing.
Did you see my interest? Poof, it’s gone.
— Dena, once again not amused by something I did.
Browsing the internet is not a spectator sport.
— Me.
My limited HTML skills can’t seem to help me get the shared Google Reader post thingy placed correctly on this page. It just kinda hangs out way to the right and completely out of place.
We’re never gonna catch a cab here!
